Here are some of the pictures from our session a few weeks ago. Our photographer, Andrea Christensen, did a really good job and we're excited to have her take our wedding pictures too.

Title Contest
Ben and I have been having a bit of trouble coming up with a good title for our blog. We've gone from cheesy to simple to even more cheesy (as you can see). So in the name of democracy, I think the best thing to do is to open ideas up to the people for a vote. Unfortunately, there are no canditates as of right now. If there were we wouldn't really need you. And I also know that we don't really have any readers yet since we haven't told anybody about the blog. So maybe this isn't so democratic after all. But I have a feeling that by the time we are discovered, there will still be no legitimate title (sorry, Ben) for our blog. If you can provide a good suggestion, we will use it, either forever or until we get a better suggestion, whichever comes first. That's pretty much all we can offer.
Let the voting begin.

Goin' on a Picnic
We've been talking about how we need to document our goings-on more. Particularly by means of photography. So since I'm trying to figure out exactly how to use this whole blog thing (I blame my lack of knowledge of such complex things like blogs on the fact that I am a product of the facebook generation), I thought I would put some pictures up of the picnic we had today. Plus Ben has asked me almost every day if there is a new post on our blog.
Today Ben and I decided to make some sandwiches and take them up to Bridal Veil Falls. We ended up carving our own meat for the sandwiches because Ben saw the whole roasted chickens sitting at the front of Smiths and had to buy one. Other than that, the picnic was in no way out of the ordinary, except for the fact that we only made it through two sandwiches each before our hands froze. The best part for both of us was probably throwing food into the woods.

Still Waiting....
Hello world and welcome to the first installment of the exciting world of Megan and Ben. I thought this whole blogging thing would be a good idea for Ben and me since, let's face it, we're full of excitement. We've been engaged for over a month now and we already have some pretty adventurous plans lined up. I'm graduating in April and then a few weeks later we tie the knot in Nauvoo. Exactly a week after we get married, we'll be leaving for Thailand. Ben has an internship there so we'll be living with his roommate's family for the summer. Ben is working with a food company and gets to travel to exciting places like Saudi Arabia, Iran, and China. We'll do our best to document these moments when they come, but until then, we're impatiently still waiting.
